About Ethiopia Driver
Ethiopia Driver is a family-run private driver service based in Bole, Addis Ababa, close to the airport. We meet travellers at Bole, drive them around the capital and take them south to Bishoftu, the Rift Valley lakes, Hawassa, Arba Minch and the Bale Mountains. We're open 24/7, every day.
What we do
- Airport pickups at Bole, day or night, with your name on a sign outside arrivals.
- A driver by the day in Addis Ababa: the same car waits at every stop, also for layover outings.
- Whole-car trips south at one fixed price: Bishoftu, Hawassa, Arba Minch and more.
- Bookings in birr: we can book your hotels and domestic flights, and you pay us one amount.

How we work
- One price for the whole car, not per person. It includes fuel, tolls, parking and the driver's food and lodging, and your exact price is confirmed in your quote.
- You know who is coming. We send the driver's name and the car's plate number the evening before.
- Long roads in daylight only. We leave early and plan to be off the road by about 3 pm.
- A road check before every trip outside Addis, using reports from our drivers across the country. We decide the route and the time with you.
- The right car for your group: a sedan for up to three people, an SUV for more people or more bags.
- Pay in US dollars or your own currency.
